Think EDM Release 7.5

Components

Listed below is some of the new functionality included in Think EDM 7.5:

• A Join component has been added to perform inner, left outer, right outer, full outer and anti joins


• The Contingency Table allows the user to cross tabulate and summarize data in contingency table format


• The Aggregate Data component calculates the aggregate of adding together data based on the aggregation level of second, minute, hour, day, week, month, quarter and year


• A data de-duplication component has been added


• JDBC and ODBC components have been added for executing SQL statements (as opposed to existing functionality to execute queries)


• The UK Postcode Parser component performs parsing, normalisation, deconstruction and validation of UK postcodes


• Geographic components have been added to perform various functions on latitude and longitude data:
  • Convert latitude/longitude data in decimal degree format to (degree, minute, second) string format.
  • Convert latitude/longitude data in (degree, minute, second) string format to decimal degree format.
  • Calculate the great-circle distance between two locations on the surface of the Earth by the latitude and longitude.
• All components have had trigger properties added so that one component finishing can trigger the start of other components


• The performance of the Logistic Regression Builder component has been improved significantly.


• The Linear Regression components have been updated to calculate collinearity diagnostics


• The Lookup Table component has been updated to allow multiple fields to be looked-up instead of only one.
